The Best For Last

How about that last auction, huh friends?!! Can you believe the great items that were scooped up?! There was a bidding war right up until the end for our top sellers: Viper Flight Suit, Sharon’s Dog Tags, Sharon’s Duty Blues, Adama’s Dog Tag, Ragnar Anchorage CIC Plotting Map, Joe’s Bar Sign–just to name a few. There were also several items that went for quite a steal: Viper ID Numbers, Rations, Headsets, Earpieces, Visitor Tags and more.  Many of these smaller items ended up being very affordable, good news for those of us looking for something within our price range. Did you get everything your heart desired? Well, if you are anything like me (and I think you are) then you can NEVER have everything you desire when it comes to BSG. Luckily, you have one more chance to try for that item you have always wanted. Wait a minute, ONE MORE CHANCE?! I never thought the day would come where I’d see myself write those words. But here it is. The last auction. One moment please, I have something in my eye (hint: it’s tears)…

Ok, I’m back. Let’s all just embrace the fact that the last auction is happening in a mere 30 days. I suggest starting a “wish list” for yourself. And I am just the person to help you fill that list. I will be dropping you hints of things to come–items I know you will want. Brush up on your bidding skills friends, because this is going to be the best auction yet. So, let’s jump right in. Here are a few small items that will be coming up next time:

Metal Dog Tags, Bloodied

A hero set of bloody dog tags for “E. Dasilva”.  Worn by a background actor during the course of the series and are therefore glued together by adhesive to prevent distracting movement or extraneous noise. Production did not note the specific episode(s) in which these tags were worn.

Picture of Saul and Ellen Tigh

Backup version of the cut corner framed picture used as set dressing for Colonel Saul Tigh’s desk as seen during Season Three, episode Seven “Hero”.

Screen Used Sr. Lieutenant Rank Pins

Two screen-used Senior Lieutenant rank pins worn on the collars of duty blues, BDUs, or dress grays. These insignia indicate the wearer has attained the rank of Senior Lieutenant in the Colonial Fleet. These pins were worn by background performers during the run of Battlestar Galactica.

Tyrol’s Hero and Stunt Screwdrivers

Mastercraft metal screwdriver with a dark blue hard plastic handle.  Features a two black stripes on the handle and a black tip.  The stunt version, is a production made recreation of the same tool.  Made completely of plastic with a bendable tip.  Painted dark blue, black and gray to mimic the look of the real version.  Both measure 10.5 in x 1 in.
