Mark II Viper Fans, This One’s for You!

The last auction looms in our very near future. Are you sad? Don’t be! I happen to know a couple of little secrets that might make you smile. I have first hand knowledge about two items we have had tucked up our sleeve. Saving the best for last is our specialty. Are you ready? Are your little BSG-loving eyes open wide and pressed against the computer screen? Good. Here’s a look at things to come…

Lee Adama’s Viper Model

Backup version of the Mark II Viper model seen lying on the table in Lee Adama’s cottage on Caprica. Double for the item used in a flashback scene from the Season Four Series Finale, “Daybreak”. This is a plastic model of a Viper Mark II fighter. Features white body with red and black detailing, and a clear plastic cock pit hood that opens to reveal a  tiny pilot with helmet inside. Measures 7 in x 3.5 in.

Mark II Viper Cockpit Blueprints

Set of eight technical plans used by production in designing a Mark II Viper cockpit. These are the actual plans referred to when building the practical cockpit used throughout all four seasons of the Battlestar Galactica Series. Black and white printed plans featuring notes, calculations and writing in red marker and black ink done by the production design team. Includes eight pages in all. Measurements include: three pages 80 in x 24 in; two pages 60 in x 24 in; one 36 in x 24 in; one 36 in x 12 in; and finally, one 11 in x 17 in page taped to a 36 in x 12 in page.
