Video Blog: The Za’tarc Detector

The Za’tarc detector is perhaps the most important Tok’ra device to ever be seen in SG-1. This beautiful prop was introduced in the Season Four episode “Divide and Conquer”, and returned in the Season Six episode “Allegiance”.

But did you know you saw it in Season Five? The Za’tarc Detector prop was designed to be converted into other devices, including the Tok’ra homing beacon in “Last Stand”. Carter manipulates the unit so that her father and Daniel can pinpoint their location.
