How-To Use Live Auctioneers
Propworx uses LiveAuctioneers as our online bidding service.
LiveAuctioneers will allow online bidders to bid not only in real time with the auction, but also allow people to place absentee bids in the event they cannot bid in tandem with the live auction. There are various other features that are highlighted here.
Getting Started
You will need to register on that site for bidding online by performing the following steps:
Step 1: Sign Up
First thing to do is register with Live Auctioneers, and fill out the following information:
Step 2: Follow the Instructions in the E-mail Confirmation Message
You will then be sent a confirmation email with a link to verify and complete registration. The email will look something like this:
Step 3: Update Your Profile
You are then able to edit any of your information.
Step 4: Browse the Lots
After you complete all of the above, you can do two things to access our listings.
1. Type in “Propworx” in the search box, which is in the upper right hand corner in green, then click “search”. You’ll be able to pull up the listings, similar to these:
2. Or go directly to http://liveauctions.propworx.com to see our auctions—past and present. (The active auction will always be listed on top!)

A view of every Propworx auction ever held through LiveAuctioneers. (The active auction that we are holding will always be listed on top!)
Step 5: Sign Up for the Auction
Once you’ve edited all your information, you will click on the “Login to Register for this Auction” link in the green box. Once you log in, you will be placed in a registration queue to bid in this auction. Each bidder will have to wait until they are accepted into the auction.
We are periodically approving bidders throughout each day up to, and including the day of, the auction. This is a manual process, so we appreciate your patience during this process.
Step 6: Review the Individual Lots
Once you have been approved for bidding, then you may next look over our items up for bid. Once you have seen everything up for auction, feel free to place a bid early. Yes, indeed, once you are logged in (and confirmed as a bidder) you can actually place a bid for an item before the start of the auction! Click on any lot and this is what you will see next:
On this page you will find all the information about this item. You will place your bid in the blue box which is under the picture of the lot. Please make sure you read all the terms and conditions before you bid.
Live viewing and bidding is now available on an iPhone through the Live Auctioneers application (a how-to on this application is available here), as well as through apps available on the Android and Blackberry.
If you have any questions about the auction email damian@propworx.com. (Please be patient for timely responses.)
